A LETTER FROM THE BOARD

Hello,

Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We hope this letter finds you in good health and a grateful heart. We are writing to share the exciting news that we closed on the purchase of the land on the Forest History Center Road! Thank you to those of you who supported this endeavor through prayer and monetary donations!

While this step is complete, the job of preparing for the future of Lighthouse Christian Academy is just beginning! Our next steps include requests for re-zoning, surveys, and building design, and your ongoing prayer and support is appreciated. We believe that investing in education is an investment in the future of our community, and the growth and expansion of our school will enable us to serve more students and provide an even deeper spiritual and academic experience. Lighthouse Christian Academy has been a beacon of faith, love, and academic excellence in our community for two school years now and we are excited to enter our third year this fall, and we are grateful for our partners at Grace Bible Chapel and Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Cohasset!

A reminder for those of you over age 70 ½, Lighthouse Christian Academy is a non-profit organization to whom you can make a donation directly from your Traditional IRA, and avoid the tax normally associated with an IRA withdrawal! These are known as Qualified Charitable Distributions and also count toward the satisfaction of your Required Minimum Distributions.
